How To Care...For Your Lashes

Melanin Sisters Hair Dynasty's lashes can last an exceptionally long time once the proper care is applied. Below we've detailed a couple of ways you can get the most out of your lash purchase.

Installing Your Mink Lashes
  1. Hold one of the mink lash strip against your eye to check its length. If the eyelash strip is longer than your real eyelash, cut off the outer edge with nail scissors so both are the same length.
  2. Bend the false eyelashes into a "C" shape so they fit the curve of your eyes.
  3. Apply a line of lash glue to the eyelash strip. If you have trouble doing this, try applying the glue with a toothpick or cotton swab.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the glue to dry n become tacky  before applying the lashes. Blow on the glue to speed up the drying process, if desired.
  5. Press the false eyelash down over your natural eyelash line. The cut end of the eyelash strip should go over the outer corner of your eye.
  6. Squeeze eyelash strip and your natural eyelash together gently with your thumb and index finger or a tweezer. And you would achieve your bold or natural look.
To remove your mink lashes
  1. Apply oil-based makeup remover to a cotton swab.
  2. Dab the lash line with the makeup remover.
  3. Open your eyes and grasp the outer corner of the eyelash strip.
  4. Close your eyes and carefully pull the eyelash away from your eye. Repeat the process with the other eye.
    When cleaning your mink lashes
Submerge your mink strip into lukewarm water/cleaning solution and gently rub them to encourage mascara or other makeup to dissolve off of them. Check the lashes for any remaining residue, and then set them in your lovely packaging one the mold that we have provided you with to dry. If you're in a hurry, you can also pat them dry.
    Tip

Wash your mink eyelash strip no more than once a week. Too much washing will cause the fibers to break.
